Q- What is CBT exam after OET?The Nursing and Midwifery Council(NMC) Test of Competence Part 1 exam is a computer-based test(CBT) consists of: 120 Multiple Choice Questions Duration: 4 hours No Negative marking Exam results are emailed to the test takers within 48 hours after the test completion. NMC CBT is curated for nurses who want to get trained abroad or get nurses jobs in Australia, UK, Singapore, etc. It is an MCQ based test and can be taken at a Pearson VUE test center available in most countries around the world.
Q- How many questions are there in CBT Exam?Total 120 Questions in CBT exam.
- 50 Questions are related to generic nursing competencies found in each domain of nursing.
- 50 Questions will be the application of generic nursing competencies to the specific field of nursing being applied for.
- 20 Questions are related to specific competencies required for the field of nursing being applied for. Test Taker may fail if he/she answered wrong.
Q- What is the pass mark for CBT exam?The passing score for CBT Exam is curated by both critical questions and an overall pass mark. Test Taker must answer 90% of critical questions. Overall passing marks = 60%.
