There are two tasks in the IELTS Writing Exam.

1- IELTS Writing Task 1

2- IELTS Writing Task 2

IELTS Writing Task 2 – Writing Assignment:

In the second part of IELTS Writing, Candidate is given an essay to write in 250 words.

Duration of exam: 40 Minutes( But you are also supposed to complete IELTS Writing Task 1 in the initial 20 minutes of the 1 hour.
